Ray Fisher, ASA National director, was in the House! He spoke about ASA’s National Annual meeting here in the DFW area and the member discount for the meeting & the training that will also be taking place at this event.
Past president of ASA Texas and President of ASA North Texas, Chris Murphy, and Treasurer of ASA Texas, Rod Burtch, also attended our meeting.
James Martin and Todd Muni from Tarrant County College, along with around 10 of their students, were our special guests in February. James talked about his students and their readiness to go into the repair industry and what level they would be at as an entry level technician.
AutoZone was our sponsor and Rex Mobley was the spokesman for AutoZone and informed us the warranty on all parts bought at AutoZone. Our group also received a tour of the MEGA HUB STORE which has over 29,000 square feet. He also promised labor claims to be paid on defect parts at the shop invoiced rate. Rex is very much in the YES ZONE, Always saying the Customer is first.
Door prize winners were Raul Garcia of BLACK SMOKE CUSTOMS and Jeremy Catsail of QUALITY AUTO SERVICE CENTER.
